    City Council in depth session cancelled for November 14

    MUSCATINE, Iowa – With two City Council members already scheduled to be out of town and three other members unable to attend due to illness, Muscatine Mayor Diana Broderson has cancelled tonight’s (Nov. 14) City Council meeting due to the lack of a quorum.

    Although no official business is conducted during the In-Depth session, City staff is able to present information to the Council members on upcoming projects or topics. Only four items were on the agenda for the meeting with those items to be rescheduled for a future meeting. The in depth session is held on the second Thursday of each month.

    The next meeting of the Council will be at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, in the City Council Chambers at Muscatine City Hall.
