MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine City Council will meet on Thursday, March 19, 2020, but it will not be in the Council Chambers at Muscatine City Hall. Instead, the Council will conduct its business meeting through a conference call.

“The guidelines provided by state and federal agencies led the City Council, Mayor, and City of Muscatine administration to move to a virtual meeting,” Kevin Jenison, Communications Manager, said.

The City Council meeting will be available to the public on GoToMeeting by calling 872-240-3212 (pin number is 929-095-821). The public is asked to mute their phone once they are in the meeting until public comment is opened by Mayor Diana Broderson.

“Please be patient as we work through this first virtual audio meeting,” Jenison said.

Information on the City’s COVID-19 response can be found on the city website.
