MUSCATINE, Iowa – The City of Muscatine Fiscal Year 2020-2021 budget is now available on the Finance Department page of the City of Muscatine web site for public viewing. A printed version will be available soon.

The FY2020-2021 budget was adopted by the Muscatine City Council on April 16, 2020. Since that time, impacts to City revenues due to the COVID-19 health crisis in both the 2019/2020 budget and the 2020/2021 budget were estimated along with budget revisions to address revenue shortfalls.

Uncertainty as to how long and to what extent City revenue will be impacted resulted in the Finance Department proposing six revisions to the FY20-21 budget that were adopted by City Council on June 18. These revisions are listed in the Budget Preface.
