FREE Meals for ALL for Muscatine Children 18 & Under

**Exciting news the USDA has just announced the extension of the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) through June 30, 2021!!**

This means free meals for ALL kids 18 and under. Because Muscatine Schools sponsored the SFSP this past spring and summer, we can start giving our students free meals across our community, right away! 

We will start Monday, September 14 providing the free meals at ALL schools, including Saints Mary and Mathias! 

Younger Children Not Attending MCSD, In-Person, Virtual, and Hybrid Learners

Please fill out this survey AS SOON AS POSSIBLE so that we can determine participation amounts for each of the times listed below. 

Parents, guardians or designee (such as an older sibling) that would like to pick up meals for multiple days for those children not attending school in-person or hybrid (A & B day ) learners, children too young to attend school, and home-schooled children may pick up meals at the Central Middle School building at 901 Cedar Street. The pick-up days and times to choose from are listed below. (You will make the selection as part of the survey.)

Free Meal Pick-Up Times:

Wednesdays, 11 am – 1 pm
Thursdays, 4 pm – 6:30pm
Friday, 11 am – 1 pm

In addition, we are able to provide weekend breakfast and lunches for pick up.

If your students(s) have money in their meal account, it will remain there for purchases such as extras like milk or juice for home lunches, an extra entree or used at a later time.

Esto significa comidas gratis para TODOS los niños menores de 18 años. Debido a que las Escuelas de Muscatine patrocinaron el SFSP durante la primavera y el verano pasados, ¡podemos comenzar a dar comidas gratis a nuestros estudiantes en toda nuestra comunidad, de inmediato!

Comenzaremos el lunes 14 de septiembre ofreciendo comidas gratis en TODAS las escuelas, ¡incluidas Saints Mary y Mathias!

Niños más pequeños que no asisten a MCSD

Por favor complete esta encuesta LO ANTES POSIBLE para que podamos determinar la cantidad de participación para cada uno de los tiempos que se enumeran a continuación.

Padres, tutores o persona designada (como un hermano mayor) que deseen recoger las comidas durante varios días para aquellos niños que no asisten a la escuela en persona o estudiantes híbridos (días A y B), niños demasiado pequeños para asistir a la escuela y al hogar. Los niños escolarizados pueden recoger las comidas en la Escuela Central en 901 Cedar St. Los días y horarios de recogida para elegir se enumeran a continuación. (Hará la selección como parte de la encuesta).

Horarios de recogida de comidas gratis:

Miércoles de 11 a 13 h
Jueves, 4 pm – 6:30 pm
Viernes, 11 am – 1 pm

Además, también podemos ofrecer desayunos y almuerzos los fines de semana.

Si sus estudiantes tienen dinero en su cuenta de comida, permanecerá allí para compras adicionales como leche o jugo para almuerzos en casa, una entrada adicional o para usar en un momento posterior.
