Muscatine County Genealogical Society is introducing programs to assist beginning and intermediate genealogists with their genealogical journey.

The first program is Saturday, February 18, 2023. The topic is German Genealogy Research: Jumping the Pond to Deutschland. 40 million Americans claim German ancestry. On the 2000 federal census, 35.7% of Iowans declared Germany heritage. Join us and learn how and where to research your German families. The program is held at 2:00 p.m. following the Society’s general meeting which starts at 1:00 p.m. This program is free to members of the Muscatine County Genealogical Society. Non-member donation is $5.00 per person, per program. Pre-registration is not required.
