    Thank You to everyone who has made me feel welcome in my first week working with the Muscatine Community School District. My hope is to meet all of you very soon, and I want to say Thank You for your trust in providing a quality education to your children! My wife, Kasey and I have two children currently enrolled in the district with another child that will be in a year or so. 

    Homecoming week is here! The week has been full of events like the annual Powder Puff game, Muskie Girls Swim Meet and more to come. This Thursday, September 17th is the annual MHS Homecoming Parade. The parade will start at 6:00pm at Grant Elementary School and travel down Mulberry Avenue before turning on Bonnie Drive. Coronation will happen after the parade at  the football stadium. Discover Muscatine will provide live streaming of the parade and coronation for those unable to attend in-person.     **Please Note** Face coverings are required for all participants and spectators (that are unable to practice social distancing). Face coverings are also required for coronation at the football stadium. Please reference the MHS Fall Spectators guidelines for more information regarding COVID-19 protocols for all Muskie events.

    Gracias a todos los que me hicieron sentir bienvenido en mi primera semana trabajando con el Distrito Escolar de la Comunidad de Muscatine. Espero conocerlos a todos muy pronto y quiero agradecerles por su confianza en brindar una educación de calidad a sus hijos. Mi esposa, Kasey y yo tenemos dos hijos actualmente inscritos en el distrito con otro hijo que estará dentro de un año aproximadamente.

    ¡La semana del regreso a casa (homecoming)  está aquí! La semana ha estado llena de eventos como el juego anual Powder Puff, Muskie Girls Swim Meet y más por venir. Este jueves 17 de septiembre es el desfile anual de bienvenida de MHS. El desfile comenzará a las 6:00 pm en la Escuela Primaria Grant y viajará por la Avenida Mulberry antes de girar en Bonnie Drive. La coronación ocurrirá después del desfile en el estadio de fútbol. Discover Muscatine proporcionará transmisión en vivo del desfile y la coronación para aquellos que no puedan asistir en persona.
