    Why are you running for election?

    Due to the Corona Virus we are facing challenging times and a shortfall in available dollars to budget is going to be one of those challenges. We need someone in office that knows how to work with department heads and fellow elected officials to keep the cost as low as possible and still provide the services that are needed and as Citizens of Muscatine County deserves. With my 12 years of experience, I am the best choice to be able to meet those challenges.

    Mental HealthWe need elected officials that care about the fragile communityAs a certified Mediator in many different fields, I will work w/ the Eastern IA MH/DS and continue to lobby legis. to allow equal local taxation to create a balance w/in the Region.

    What is the most important thing you would like voters to know about you that they may not?

    I have owned a business, worked in a factory, been an executive director of a non-profit, an emergency services dispatcher and a Muscatine County Supervisor for 12 years. With my background, I have the experience, to be able to work w/ all members of Muscatine County. I am dedicated and a hard worker. All that being said – the most important thing to know is that I care about YOU. I have never asked what Party someone belongs to, because I don’t care. I am an Independent!!
