A leading voice in Muscatine County agriculture, the Lee Agency (Lee) has hosted various agricultural events for the past twenty-five years. Starting in 2014, Lee began holding an annual Fall Agriculture Seminar to give local farmers a chance to learn about some of the hottest topics in agriculture. Now in its fifth year, Lee’s Fall Agriculture Seminar promises to offer even more useful and engaging information than ever before.

This year, on Thursday, August 29th at 5:00 pm, Lee’s Fall Agriculture Seminar will feature three dynamic speakers. Lee Ag Sales Advisor Logan Lyon will discuss the various kinds of crop insurance available and private options farmers can purchase. He will also walk through how to file a crop insurance claim and take audience questions related to crop insurance.

Along with Lyon, various staff members from TruAcre Technology will discuss some of the current specials they have, as well as upcoming events they will host. These events include #notyournormalfieldday – hosted by Growing Ag, LLC; sponsored by TruAcre Technology, Becks Hybrids, and 360 Yield Center on September 5th, and Lee’s all-day Spring Ag Seminar, sponsored by TruAcre Technology and CBI Bank & Trust, on February 7th.

Finally, Steve Maulberger of Crop Risk Services will give his feature presentation titled, “Grain Markets: What Next?” Maulberger will give a fast paced, information packed talk on international grain markets and how farmers can successfully navigate them to turn a good profit.
Additionally, Lee’s Fall Agriculture Seminar provides an excellent time for Lee to get to know members of the local farming community better, and to help them make wise decisions. As Lyon put it, he always values that the Fall Agriculture Seminar allows Lee, “to provide hospitality and connect with our clients and prospects while providing them the expertise and trust to help them make the best decisions for their operation.”

A free event, any current or perspective clients of Lee, TruAcre Technology, or CBI Bank and Trust; students interested in pursuing a career in agriculture, and 4H or FFA members may attend. To register for Lee’s Fall Agriculture Seminar, visit www.leeagencyinc.com/rsvp or call (563)-263-9252.
