MUSCATINE, Iowa–Nine Muscatine High School band students auditioned at the 76th annual All-State Band Festival in Washington on Saturday, Oct. 22. Shelby O’Brien (Bassoon) and Belle “Andi” Rosin (French Horn one), both earned their fourth consecutive All-State placements in the prestigious 278-piece band. Ashton Heim and Tristan Reidel earned alternate placements in Trumpet and Euphonium, respectively. Muscatine High had five additional musicians audition at this festival, including: Teghan Bell, Jayden Brooks, Eliana Cangro, Grace Kreitner, and Payton Seibel. All these musicians are outstanding examples of the dedication and perseverance it takes to strive for excellence; and their teachers and the band boosters recognize the hard work they have all displayed at this contest and throughout each year.
