    Muscatine Humane Society
The mission of the Muscatine Humane Society is to educate the public of the importance and dire necessity to spay and neuter their animals to prevent the needless suffering that follows pet overpopulation. Concurrently the Society provides a safe haven for lost or abandoned animals until their owners or new homes can be obtained.

    Adopt Bethany!

    Bethany

Breed: Female, black tabby with brown field domestic shorthair

    Age: Adult

Bethany arrived at the shelter as a pregnant stray. Her only kitten did not survive, but Bethany did foster several orphan kittens who came to the Humane Society. A a quiet and gentle soul, Bethany would do well in a calm home.

    Adopt Coal!

    Coal

Breed: Male, black domestic medium hair

    Age: Kitten

A true diamond in the rough, Coal has lots of love to give once he warms up to someone. Though sudden touches and changes in his environment can scare him, he can grow quite cuddly when comfortable with someone. Coal would prefer a home without children or dogs.
