    Mission Pawsible: July 7

    Muscatine Humane Society
The mission of the Muscatine Humane Society is to educate the public of the importance and dire necessity to spay and neuter their animals to prevent the needless suffering that follows pet overpopulation. Concurrently the Society provides a safe haven for lost or abandoned animals until their owners or new homes can be obtained.

    Adopt Emmy!

    Breed: Female, pit bull terrier

    Age: Two years old

Found alone in the freezing cold, Emmy came to the Muscatine Humane Society last winter. She underwent two successful hip displaysia surgeries and can now go to her “furever” home. Emmy needs a family who can finish house training her and help her gain confidence.

    Adopt Domino!

Breed: Female, black van, domestic short hair.

    Age: Adult

Originally a farm cat, several farmhands got her spayed and vaccinated after she had a litter of kittens. They tried to return her to her original cat colony, but she played too rough with the other members. She has a very sweet and friendly personality.
