Muscatine Humane Society
The mission of the Muscatine Humane Society is to educate the public of the importance and dire necessity to spay and neuter their animals to prevent the needless suffering that follows pet overpopulation. Concurrently the Society provides a safe haven for lost or abandoned animals until their owners or new homes can be obtained.

Adopt Shy!

Breed: Female, Bluetick Coonhound

Age: Six-years-old

Shy came to the Muscatine Humane Society when her owner surrendered her and Dixie due to a lack of time to spend with them. Shy gets along well with people. Though all hounds like to bark, Shy is not too loud. She would love to join a family that can give her attention and structure.

Adopt Binx!

Breed: Male, Black tabby on brown field tuxedo domestic short hair

Age: Two-years old.

Friendly and affectionate, Binx has the purr-fect personality for just about any family. Young and curious, Binx would love to explore a fur-ever home of his own.
