MUSCATINE, Iowa–2022 will mark the 100th year of Muscatine Power and Water’s (MPW) Electric Utility! What better way to honor the anniversary than by displaying its services with night photos of a lit-up community. To mark this milestone, MPW is engaging the community to find unique ways to capture Muscatine area night life.

Schedule:  All pictures must be submitted by September 15, 2021
Specifications: 300 DPI JPEG, PNG, RAW, or TIFF preferred. If using smartphone cameras, use your highest resolution setting or HDR. Image/file size large enough to be enlarged/reduced to print smoothly on an 11×14 page with no “sawtooth” edges or blurriness. Layered Photoshop files needed to create specialty lighting effects should be merged or flattened prior to sending.
Eligibility: Open to all amateur, hobbyist, and professional photographers.
Email submissions to: contests@machlink.com If the file is larger than 20 MB, you may upload files up to 2 GB free using www.wetransfer.com.  Be sure to select contests@machlink.com as the delivery address and provide your email address in the sender field.
Prizes: Bragging rights!  MPW’s calendar is a popular, long-standing community offering with approximately 3,000 calendars printed and distributed each year.  What a way to show off your night moves! Selected pictures will be credited with photographers’ name on bottom of the photo in the calendar.  A minimum of 13 pictures will be selected. (cover + 12 months)
