Muscatine CSD announces summer meal sites

MUSCATINE, Iowa–Muscatine Community School District is participating in the summer food service program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided, at a first come, first served basis, at the sites and times that follow:

Daily school dine and dash breakfast and lunch locations, June 6 – Aug. 5,

  • Franklin Elementary, 210 Taylor Avenue, Muscatine, 11:00 – 11:45 a.m. (Breakfast will be served with lunch from June 6 through 30. After that, breakfast will not be offered).
  • Jefferson Elementary, 403 East 9th Street, Muscatine, 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Breakfast will be served with lunch from June 6 through 30. Starting July 1 through Aug. 8, breakfast will be served on-site from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m.
  • Madison Elementary, 1820 1st Avenue, Muscatine – from 11 – 11:45 a.m. (Breakfast will be served with lunch from June 6 through June 30. After that, breakfast will not be served).

Daily non-school dine and dash breakfast and lunch locations, June 6 – Aug, 5

  • Cedar Park/Hill Apartments, 2002 Logan Street, Muscatine, 11:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Breakfast will be served with lunch from June 6 through 30. After that, breakfast will not be served.
  • Hwy 61 mobile home parks, 2881 US Highway 61, Muscatine 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Breakfast will be served with lunch from June 6 through 30).
  • The Salvation Army of Muscatine County, 1000 Oregon Avenue, Muscatine, 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (Breakfast will be served on-site from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m.).

Weekly in June, only – school drive through grab and go breakfast and lunch pick up location 

  • Muscatine High School, 2705 Cedar Street, Muscatine, Wednesday, June 8 and every Wednesday following through June 29, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Breakfast and lunch will be served together for the week).

All sites will be closed on  Monday, July 4th, 2022
