UnityPoint Health® – Trinity Offers Free “Heart to Heart” Health Education Class

Don’t miss UnityPoint Health® – Trinity’s next Heart to Heart Community Education Series event in December. UnityPoint Health is continuing its commitment to educating the community on heart health related topics. The free in-person event is taught directly by experts from Trinity Heart Center to help get people on the right track to living more a heart healthy life.
Teresa Pangan, PhD, RDN, prevention and wellness strategist will present “Stress Is Inevitable, Getting Sick from It Is Not” on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Jardine Auditorium at UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island.
“Severe and consistent stress can have a major impact on your heart health,” says Dr. Pangan. “Reducing stress can help lower the risk of developing high blood pressure, which can lead to heart attack or stroke. Join me to find out how to better manage stress so it doesn’t cost you your health.”
Heart to Heart is a free community educational series for those interested in learning more about heart disease and prevention. Attendees learn how to take control of their heart health through simple lifestyle changes that can make positive impacts. Register today at unitypoint.org/heart2heart.
