Officers of the Muscatine Police Department responded to 1713 Earl Avenue, Apartment C, Monday (Feb. 8, 2021) in an attempt to locate Kobe Schubert, 20.  Police located Schubert at that residence and was served an arrest warrant for Going Armed with Intent and Reckless Use of a Firearm.

Muscatine Police Department officers responded to the 1200 block of Nebraska Street on January 10, 2021, to investigate a report of gun shots. When officers arrived they found two unoccupied vehicles that had been struck by multiple rounds of gun fire.

No other property was found to be damaged and there were no injuries.

Following an extensive investigation, Muscatine Police investigators charged three individuals in connection with the incident. Ronald Lee Johnson, 50, 704 Division Street, Muscatine, and Dalton Lee Johnson, 18, 1713 Earl Avenue, Apt. C, Muscatine, were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021, and charged with going armed with intent.

The Muscatine Police Department had previously asked for the public’s help in locating Schubert and would like to thank the community for all the tips it has received.

All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
