Blanche Peck, 95, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Lutheran Living.  Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  A memorial has been established for Island Methodist Church.    Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Blanche Louise Davis was born on October 31, 1927 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Ivory and Edith (Hathaway) Davis.  On November 1, 1946, Blanche was united in marriage to Mernon Peck Sr in Muscatine.  Blanche worked on the farm, was a member of Island Methodist Church and Women’s Society at church.  She was a collector of stamps and postcards and was a wonderful cook.

Blanche will be deeply missed by her siblings, Emory Davis and Ivan Davis, both of Muscatine; grandchild, Tricia Bragg; five great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tracey Peck and several nieces and nephews.

Blanche was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mernon Peck, Sr; one son, Mernon Peck, Jr.; step-father, Christy Stammer and siblings, Frank Davis, Ross Davis and Marvin Davis.
