Jeffrey Lynn Everett was born on December 27, 1955, the son of Leslie “Joe” Buser and Lois Ruth (Schave) Everett.   On June 22, 1975, Jeff was united in marriage to Cynthia Rickey in Muscatine, the couple later divorced.  Jeff had worked in maintenance at GPC for many years before spending time at IBP and at last retiring from H. J. Heinz.  Jeff was a man always on the go.  You could always find him and his trusty sidekick, Copper also known as “Shop Dog” somewhere around his farm building or tinkering with something, working on his tractors or just enjoying the outdoors.  Jeff had always had an interest in astronomy and loved to dabble in different agricultural adventures in his fields-usually farming hay but sometimes he would try his hand at corn, soybeans and even one time pumpkins for his granddaughter, Abby.

Jeff will be deeply missed by his daughter, Cathy Jo (Warren) Ribbink of Muscatine; grandchildren, Abby Everett, Hannah (Damon) Stalkfleet, Mya Ribbink and Kord Ribbink all of Muscatine; great grandchildren, Braxton and Emma Stalkfleet and siblings, Lawrence (Susan) Everett, Janet Everett, James (LuAnn) Everett, Pamela (Richard) Grimm, Jennifer (Clinton) Prest and Andrew (Kristi) Everett.  Jeff is also survived by his best friend and neighbor, Hector Valdez, Sr and his family of Columbus Junction.

Jeff  was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Everett.
