Jerry A. “Digger” Stalkfleet, 82, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Lutheran Living.  A private family graveside will be held in Nichols Cemetery.  Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine is caring for the family.  Memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Jerry. Jerry Allen Stalkfleet was born on October 23, 1940 in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Lewis and Pearl (Carney) Stalkfleet.    On September 12, 1959, Jerry was united in marriage to Sandra LaRue in Muscatine.  Jerry worked for over forty years as the groundskeeper of Greenwood Cemetery.  He was a member of the Muscatine American Legion.  He enjoyed tinkering in his garage and riding his motorcycle.

Jerry will be deeply missed by his children, Vista Stalkfleet of Muscatine, Darrin Stalkfleet of Muscatine, Marci Stalkfleet (Patti Perales) of Muscatine and Chad Stalkfleet (Wendy Hein) of Letts; grandchildren, Chase (Tiffany) Powell, Damon (Hannah) Stalkfleet, Christopher Timmons, Brittany (Ryan) Timmons and Cheyenne Stalkfleet; several great-grandchildren and many loving family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandy on September 27, 2022; grandson, Dillon Stalkfleet; infant brother, Lonnie and brothers, Melvin and Dexter Stalkfleet.
