John C. Adams, 75, passed away on December 5, 2022 at Manor Care of Davenport.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com. Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services is caring for John’s arrangements.

John Casper Adams was born on September 20, 1947 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Pearl Nunkirk.  He was united in marriage to Cynthia and later divorced.   He had worked at Hy-Vee in Coralville, Sheller-Globe in Iowa City and spent several years farming.  John had also helped out around the Jesus Mission for the last six years.  He will always be remembered as such a generous and kind-hearted man.

John is survived by his children, Justin Adams, Andrew Herlein, Veronica Adams, Heather Adams and Christopher Adams; several siblings and good friend, Bethann (Anthony) Pigsley-Neis.

John was preceded in death by his parents and companion of many years, Linda Wright.
