Judith Ann Flanagan, born to Frank & Ann Pusateri of Dubuque in October of 1938, passed away Monday the 12th of September in Iowa Falls. She is survived by 3 sisters, Joyce Huss (Dubuque), Jean & Wayne Schrobligen (Dubuque) and Andrea Schwegman (Davenport). She is preceded by her parents, 2 Brothers, Mike & Jeff Pusateri. Also, by her son, Sean Flanagan & Grandson John Flanagan. Judy is survived by her remaining children, Mike & Laura Flanagan (Ackley), Mary Flanagan (Framingham, MA), Laura Kent & Malika (Nicholson, GA) & Eve Bermel & Brian (Illinois City, IL). She also has 12 Grandchildren & 20 Great Grandchildren.
Judy grew up in Dubuque and Graduated from the Visitation. She attended Laurus College, then married Patrick Flanagan in 1957. They lived on the Flanagan Farm in Ricardsville for several years, moving to Indiana St. in Dubuque before making Muscatine their permanent home. There, Judy was a Den Mother, Head Start Teacher & Director before working at Thatcher’s Plastics and then becoming a Deli Manager for Nash Finch. Judy was always Extremely artistic & creative. She loved to paint and made beautiful watercolor Easter Eggs. She also loved to feed people & made the best spaghetti & meatballs in town.
Later Judy moved to Marion for work and then to Ackley to be near family. Judy touched so many lives. She will be truly missed.
