Kelly Ulch, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on October 24, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
Funeral service will be at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Alex Kindred of Muscatine First Christian Church will be officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society. Online condolences may be left at www.wittichfuneralhome.com
Kelly was born on May 31, 1961 in Muscatine, the daughter of Larry and Patricia Trimble Ulch. She loved animals, whether pets or wild animals at the zoo, along with gardening, fishing, and rock’n’roll. She was known as someone who loved caring for people. Many people enjoyed the food she prepared for them over the years, as Kelly was a cook at the Head Start program in Muscatine, Lutheran Living in Muscatine, Lone Tree Health Care Center, and most recently at Avenue Subs. Most of all, she loved and enjoyed spending time with her four grandchildren.
Kelly is survived by her children Nick O’Brien and significant other Jennifer Zavala of Cedar Rapids, and Robbie Ulch of Muscatine; grandchildren Maddox Ulch, Eisley Ulch, Aspen O’Brien, and Winter O’Brien; siblings Chris Ulch and his wife, Lori, of Muscatine, Melody Rogers and her husband, Tom, of Muscatine, Everett Ulch of New Boston, Illinois; stepsiblings Julie Brown and her husband, Jeff, of Muscatine, and Tamara Bailey and her husband, Michael, of Westfield, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandmother Jessie Ulch.
