Nancy Louise Newman, 62, of Muscatine, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at her home in Muscatine.  Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m at the Snyder and Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Services of Muscatine.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the funeral home in Nancy’s name. Nancy was born July 3, 1960 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of James and Betty (Vandygriff) Newman. She worked at Premiere Estates as a dietary aide from 2009-2019. She enjoyed Bingo, thrift shopping, garage sales and scratch off lottery tickets. Nancy’s greatest joy in life came from time spent with her family, especially during family dinners and with her grandchildren.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her daughter, Heather Blythe of Muscatine; three grandchildren: Natalie Nava (Ishaaq Rangel); Tony Nava (Zayla Jimenez); and Briana Lopez; two great-grandchildren: Aaron and Laila Rangel; significant other, Julian Aguilera of Muscatine; siblings: Chris Wooten of Muscatine; John (Terri) Newman of Muscatine; Sylvia Mosley of Muscatine; and Sue Newman of Muscatine; step-brother, Donnie Newman of Muscatine; step-sister, Tammie Wellman of McMinnville, TN; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Ervin Newman; nephew, Mike Newman; and brother-in-law, Sam Gausin.
