MUSCATINE, Iowa – Patricia Jean McCleary, 72, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.wittichfuneralhome.com. Memorials may be made in her honor to her nephew, Jaime Martinez.

Patricia was born on September 10, 1950, in Muscatine, the daughter of James P. and Irene H. McCleary, Sr. She worked at Maid Rite, was a manager at Long John Silver’s, as well as managing the restaurant at J & L Truckstop. Most recently, she worked as a customer service manager of the front end at Walmart. She enjoyed her trips to the casino with her mom when she was living and her friend Sharon, and loved spending time with her family, along with crocheting in her free time.

She is survived by her brothers, Larry McCleary of Gulf Port, Mississippi, and Terry McCleary and his wife, JoAnn, of Milan, Illinois; sister-in-law Ina ‘Faith’ McCleary; along with several nieces and nephews.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; brother James ‘Jim’ McCleary, Jr.; and sister Sharon McCleary.
