Roberta K. “Tudie” Beeding, 80, of Wapello, passed away Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Wapello Specialty Care Nursing Home.  A visitation will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Wapello. A private interment will be held at a later date at Indian Creek Cemetery. Tudie was born April 24, 1942 in Beacon-Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of James Robert and Gertrude (McGill) Kemp. She graduated from Letts High School. Tudie met Ronald Wayne Beeding at the roller-skating rink in Muscatine and the two later married on October 24, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa.

Tudie was the owner and operator of several businesses including a bakery, gas stations and a bar. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers, Christmas time, and her pet dogs. Her greatest love in life was her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her children: Rondalyn (Chris) Weyrick of Wapello; Jeanette (Rodney) Blanke of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; Joyce (Todd) Coil of Wapello; Jordie (Mandy) Beeding of Wapello; and Jason (Amanda) Beeding of Wapello; 14 grandchildren, Kearey Yashack, Daniel Beeding, Chad Davidson, James Hayes, Kayleen Terry, Latasha Yerington, Jordan Chambliss, Kelly Stigers, Taylor Beeding, Kodiak Killbride, Auguste Weyrick, Jaydon Yerington, Garrett Beeding and Brade Church; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald, in 2001; siblings: Bobby Kemp, Janice Allison and Beverly Delveau; and grandson, Christopher Yerington.
