Steven Lange, 76, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2022, at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a Remembrance Service at 6:00 p.m. at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral and Cremation Service of Muscatine.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home for Steven.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.sandhfuneralservice.com.

Steven Carl Lange was born on March 2, 1946, in Muscatine, the son of Carl and Anita (Bast) Lange.  He graduated from L&M High School in 1964.  Steven served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was the owner of Iowa Exchange later known as Lange’s Wholesale in the downtown Muscatine area for over 50 years, specializing in antiques, cards, coins and other collectibles.  Steven was a member of various coin clubs.  He enjoyed going to estate sales, flea markets and collecting coins.  Steven loved all animals, and especially his cats.  Most of all, he loved being with his family.

Steven will be missed by his children, Jennifer (James) Nott of Fruitland, Julie (Christopher) Varo of Iowa City; grandchildren, Austin Lange Nick McGlothlen, Andy McGlothlen, Lauryn Varo and Kaden Varo; great-granddaughter, Estella and siblings, Gary (Sheree) Lange of Letts and Mary (Larry) Morrison of Letts.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Lange.
