Muscatine Living

This mural was done in 2016 and is located at 502 Mulberry Avenue, Muscatine on El Omitos.

They have been in business here for 37 years come this July 16. The owner told me he started out with tacos, but I want to mention they have the best tortas in the world!

I painted this over an existing sign that had been there for years. I added the bridge and river, along with the clam man stature. I love the way some fresh paint can make something old look new. If you haven’t eaten at El Omitos, I highly recommend it!
