Registration open for Little Muskies Football

MUSCATINE, Iowa – A non-competitive program to teach boys and girls, ages four through seven, the basic fundamentals of football is being offered by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department. Little Muskies Football will be held on Diamond #2 at Kent Stein Park from September 14 through October 6.

Little Muskies Football is not a tackle football program. With the help of their parents, participants will have the opportunity to learn football skills from trained Parks and Recreation staff.

Children ages four and five will play on Monday nights from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. while children ages six and seven will play on Tuesday nights from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Registration fee is $25.00 for Muscatine residents and $30.00 for non-residents. A tee shirt is included in the fee. Registration for Little muskies Football is open now through Thursday, September 10. Do not wait to reserve your spot. Parents or guardians can register their children by visiting the Parks and Recreation Department office in the lower level of City Hall, by phone, or by going online at https://apm.activecommunities.com/muscatine/Home.
