    On Monday, Jan. 27, Iowa Senator Mark Lofgren attended an award ceremony for Ambassador Kenneth Quinn. Quinn received a National Association of Secretaries of State (NASS) Medallion Award from Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate. The award honors Quinn for his role in helping Vietnamese evacuees in 1975, direction of the Iowa SHARES program, which assisted Cambodians affected by war, and his tenure as president of the World Food Prize.
