What do you enjoy most about school?
“I enjoy coming to school everyday and being greeted by all of my friends and other classmates. I get pushed to do my best in all of my classes by all of my teachers, and I enjoy the challenge at hand. My favorite thing about this school year is being able to go over to the elementary school as a teacher’s aide. I get a look at the profession I want to go into, and I also feel like I bond with the students while helping their little minds learn something new and useful.”

Dominic Solis worked hard in school, making honor roll for the past three years and completing several dual enrollment college classes. Outside the classroom, Dominic filled his time with playing football and basketball and working at Casey’s. Dominic has enjoyed helping his community by serving as a big for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Muscatine and by helping out as a teachers aide in the elementary school.
