What do you enjoy most about school?
“I enjoy many things about school. I enjoy seeing all of my classmates and friends. The school allows me to see those who aren’t in my everyday bubble and has forced me to come out of my comfort zone sometimes to meet and talk to new people. I also enjoy my ag classes. I have learned so many things in my ag classes that have opened a new path that I never thought of. Ag has taught me that it is a lot more than just farming and has guided me to what I want to pursue in life.”

A very involved student, Elsie Lewis loves competing in volleyball, wrestling, basketball, and softball and serving as a reporter for Muscatine FFA. Elsie also enjoys volunteering and helped her church build a new pantry for the Emmaus Café. She continues to teach vacation Bible school in the summer and to help out with children’s events at Geneva Country Club.
