Tonight we would like to welcome back and recognize the 2001 Muskie Varsity Football team. The 2001 Muskies became the 2nd Muscatine football team to reach the playoffs and they defeated Burlington in the 1st round of the playoffs before falling to Bettendorf in the Quarterfinals.

The Head Coach of the Muskies was John Each, and Muskie All Staters in 2001 included Kyle Murray and Edgar Arceo.
