He has done everything from murals, illustrating children's books, to video production and live broadcasting.

    Muscatine Living

This was my first mural in Muscatine. I painted it in 2013 with the help of my good friend, Joe Barnard, and 14 volunteers from C.B.I. bank for the United Way Day of Caring. It depicts Muscatine in the pearl button era. It features Mark Twain and Tom Sawyer, along with a clam selfie station!

One of my favorite parts is an effect I used to make it look like you are going into the painting when you stand in front of it. I’ll have to admit, at the time I was a little intimidated by the scale of such a wall, but I learned a lot and absolutely love it!

Thank you to The National Pearl Museum for choosing me to paint it, and a shout out to Dustin Joy, the current director, and all the wonderful staff and people I’ve met over the years! If you haven’t visited the museum before, be sure to check it out! I should also mention I sell art and other gifts inside their wonderful gift shop!
