    Two arrested, warrant issued in January shots fired incident

    MUSCATINE, Iowa– On Jan. 26, the Muscatine Police Department arrested two suspects and issued a warrant for a third in a shots fired incident Jan. 10. The department released a statement on the arrests, which follows below verbatim.


    On January 10th, 2021 officers from the Muscatine Police Department responded to the 1200 block of Nebraska Street to investigate the report of gun shots. Upon arrival, officers discovered two unoccupied vehicles, which had been struck by multiple rounds of gun fire. No other property was found to be damaged and there were no reported injuries. As the result of an extensive investigation, Muscatine Police Department Investigators have charged (3) three individuals in connection with this crime.

    Arrested on 01/26/2021:

    Dalton Lee Johnson, (18) 02/19/02, of 1713 Earl Ave. Apt. C – Going armed with intent

    Ronald Lee Johnson, (50) 9/27/71, of 704 Division St. – Going armed with intent

    Arrest Warrant issued for:

    Kobe Ray Schubert, (20) 07/28/00, Address Unknown – Going armed with intent, Reckless use of firearm.

    Kobe Schubert is still being sought by police. The Muscatine Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Schubert. Kobe should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who may know of Kobe’s whereabouts is asked to call 911 or Lt. David O’Connor at (563) 263-9922 x.608. If Kobe is seen in public, call 911 immediately and do not try to approach him.
