Did you know that every three minutes someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer? Pennies for Patients is a campaign that raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. This organization helps the families of patients who have this disease. Our school is joining over 25,000 schools across the nation to make a difference and raise as much money as we can the next two weeks to help find a cure for cancer. Please bring in your spare change starting Monday, January 13th and give it to your 1st period Purple day teacher. Penny Wars will last for two weeks. The first period class to raise the most money will earn a special breakfast! Thank you for your participation in this important fundraiser!
