Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Jan. 20 – NO SCHOOL – Teacher Inservice

 

Today, we are kicking off our Penny Wars competition to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! Deposit your spare change in the bag provided for your first period purple day teacher. Please remember pennies are positive coin, so deposit them in your classroom’s bag. All silver coin and dollars are negative coin and should be deposited in another classroom’s collection bag. The goal is to be the classroom with the most positive coin at the end of the competition. The winning classroom will earn a breakfast pizza or doughnut party. Let’s have some fun while raising money for an important cause!

 

West Students, the snack shop crew wanted to let you know that we are going to begin selling snacks between 2nd and 3rd period.  Snacks will still be sold in the same location, near the library.  Also note, snacks will no longer be sold between 7th and 8th period.  All snacks sold cost either 50 cents or a dollar and the money raised is used toward school wide events.  Please come check it out!

 

SWIMMERS! We have Swimming Sign Up Sheets in our office areas. Swim practice begins on Monday, January 27th @ 6:15 AM – 7:45 AM at MHS Pool; Swimmers will need to find their own ride to practice. We invite any and all students who love to splish, splash, and splat their way around a pool to join. It’s lots of fun, and great exercise. You must have a current physical, concussion form, and Insurance waiver completed to participate.

Sign –up is on the Gold office window.

 

ATTENTION: 7th & 8th Grade girls interested in Track!!!

WHAT: Off season workouts with MHS track team

WHEN: Monday, Wednesday & Fridays.

WHERE: Meet at MHS commons area by gym/cafeteria

BUS Number 16-5

Students may ride this bus to practice, but need to find own transportation home!
