Today is a GOLD Day!

Upcoming events and dates to remember:

Mar. 12 – Parent/ Teacher conferences 1:45 – 3:45

Mar. 12 – 2 hour early dismissal

Mar. 13 – NO SCHOOL – conference comp day

Mar. 16 – 20 NO SCHOOL – SPRING BREAK

Mar. 23 – Classes resume

Tomorrow will be the last day of the book fair. It will be open from 8:30 – 1:30. 

Spring pictures will be on April 8th.  We will let you know when the order forms are in.

West Middle School parents/guardians:

Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (formerly Iowa Assessments) will be taken April 1st-3rd. Eating a nutritious snack before testing helps students concentrate and keeps them energized for the duration of the testing session.  Please consider donating the following items to help us provide students with nutritious snacks during testing that week:

• Pretzels
• Goldfish crackers
• Granola Bars
• Cheese cracker sandwiches
• Bottled Water (16 oz. bottles)

We have 370 students, so every donation will make a difference! These donations may be dropped off in the main office March 2nd-March 31st. Thank you for your support!

*Please, no nut products due to allergies.

Students – Please stop by the Gold Office and sign up for our final sporting event of the year! Track & Field practice begins March 23rd. All students who are interested in going out for Track & Field must have physicals, concussion forms, and waiver forms completed and turned in to Mr. Wright, or Mrs. Watson by March 23rd.

Muskie Store is Open! The district has partnered with Phelps Custom Apparel to offer our staff, families, and community Muskie Apparel! This online store does not close meaning that it remains open for all of your Muskie clothing needs throughout the year.
