Following the isolation created by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Community Block Party looks to bring community organizations, service groups, and resources together for a night of fun and games at the Discover Center. Beyond the night of fun, the planning committee hopes the community will take this opportunity to connect with valuable resources and volunteer opportunities as we look to foster post-pandemic connections with the community we love. Crowd favorite activities include bounce houses, fire trucks, the In Plain Sight trailer, music, and balloon animals joining newer activities, including rock painting, noodle crafts, and friendship bracelets. With over 30 organizations in attendance, including Muscatine County Conservation, The Community Y, Musser Public Library, UnityPoint Health, United Way of Muscatine, and Muscatine Center for Social Action, there is something for everyone.
