MUSCATINE, Iowa–Sunnybrook at Muscatine Assisted Living and Memory Care will hold their fourth annual Barbeque for Badges, a public safety appreciation lunch. They invite all local police officers, firefighters, sheriff’s department members, emergency medical technicians, and other first responders to join them in a celebration of all they do for our community. The lunch will take place in Sunnybrook’s parking lot on Wednesday, May 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. First responders will receive food in a no contact drive-up style to ensure hassle free, worry free delivery. Sunnybrook feels excited to continue the annual barbecue event despite the current restrictions in place, as their appreciation and gratitude towards first responders has grown higher than ever.
