    MUSCATINE, Iowa – The Muscatine City Council will conduct a special meeting for a closed session of Council at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, 2020.

    The request to enter closed session is per Iowa Code 21.5(c) to discuss strategy with counsel in matters that are presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent where its disclosure would be likely to prejudice or disadvantage the position of the governmental body in that litigation.

    The City Council is currently conducting business by conference calls. The open portion of the March 26 meeting is available to the public. The Council will leave the call for the closed session but the public portion will remain available until the Council leaves the closed session and returns to the open session for adjournment. No action will be taken at this time.
