Dear Central Middle School Students and Families,

We hope that all of you are doing well and are staying safe and healthy at this time. Since the end of the 2019-2020 school year on May 22nd, we have had many questions regarding end-of-year details. Here are the answers to those questions:

Last Student Day

The last student day for this academic year was May 22nd.

Personal Belongings at School
At this time, school buildings remain closed and students are NOT permitted to pick up personal items from our school. Currently, the plan is that students will be able to retrieve their personal belongings in July – depending upon the status of the pandemic at that time. Please stay tuned for additional information from our district and our school in regards to this. If there is something that you feel is a necessity, please contact your building principal.

Yearbook Distribution

For students who ordered yearbooks, they will be distributed at the same time that students are allowed to safely pick up other personal belongings. When a date and time have been determined, we will communicate this to you.

Students will keep their district-issued Chromebooks, chargers, and cases over the summer months. Students are responsible for caring for their chromebook and using it appropriately over the summer months. When school resumes in the fall, students will be required to have their district-issued chromebook ready to go for the new school year.

Library Books

We recognize that many of you have library books at home with you. Late fees will not be assessed on your account at this time. Please keep track of your books and you will be able to return them at a later date.

Continuous Learning Website

The Continuous Learning Website is still up and running. Many of you have taken advantage of the learning opportunities there. The activities and website will remain accessible throughout the summer.

Please continue to check your email for more information from our schools and our district. Together we will get through this.

Yours for great schools,

Mr. Spies, and Mrs. Colvin
