CMS Show Choir Auditions will take place Tuesdays and Wednesdays after school until 5:00 PM every week unless a conflict happens. This is open to anyone at CMS. You do not have to be in choir to try out for show choir.  If you miss more than 3 rehearsals unexcused you will be removed from the group. Dedication is a must. Auditions will be held in the CMS Little Theater. People trying out will learn a short dance section first and will audition in small groups. We are excited to encourage our middle school students to attend home basketball games, and cheer on our team!  We want to ensure that our students, as well as members of our community, and those visiting Muscatine are able to enjoy these events.

Here are some additional reminders of expectations for our middle school students:

  • Be Respectful
  • Be Responsible
  • Stand and remove hats for the National Anthem
  • No horseplay or rough-housing in the middle school section is allowed.
  • Use appropriate language
  • Comply immediately with all stadium staff and law enforcement requests

We encourage families to take a moment to discuss these expectations with students to ensure an enjoyable time for all community members attending the game and supporting our Muskies.  Failure to abide by these expectations may result in removal from an event, and loss of privileges in attending future activities or events.

Enjoy cheering the Muskies as you support our team!

Go, Muskies!
