MEDIAPOLIS — Yesterday, Representative-Elect Taylor Collins released the following statement in response to an uncontested victory in his race for the Iowa House.
“I want to first and foremost thank my family who has supported me over the last year, and the people of Southeast Iowa for entrusting me with the honor to serve them in the Iowa House of Representatives come January,” said Representative-Elect Collins.
“Yesterday the people of Iowa delivered a conservative mandate to their elected leaders,” said Representative-Elect Collins. “The chaos and consequences of the liberal policies we have seen over the last two years in Washington D.C. should not be the direction our state should go.”
“Since I announced my candidacy earlier this year I’ve met with farmers, manufacturers, small business owners, educators, health care workers, and many others,” said Representative-Elect Collins. “Their concerns and priorities are what I take with me to the State Capitol.”
Representative-Elect Taylor Collins resides in Mediapolis, and will represent Iowa House District 95, encompassing all of Louisa, and parts of Des Moines, Henry, and Muscatine Counties.
