MUSCATINE, Iowa–Each school year, the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine presents scholarships to high school, college, and even a few junior high school students in Muscatine County and the surrounding area. This year, the organization awarded over 190 scholarships worth over $550,000. All scholarships come from local individuals, organizations, and companies who establish funds for them. “We are grateful for the generosity of donors that make these scholarship awards possible, and we are honored they entrusted us with the responsibility to achieve their charitable intentions to invest in future generations of learners and leaders,” reflected the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine Vice President of Operations Jamie Leza.
