MUSCATINE, Iowa–Santos Saucedo has announced he will seek reelection to the Muscatine County Board of Supervisors in District One.

Saucedo, a lifelong Muscatine native, has been a project manager in the engineering department at Bayer/Monsanto for more than 25 years. He was also previously a member of the Muscatine City Council.

Saucedo announced: “with my professional and previous city council experience, I believe I brought a unique perspective to the Muscatine County Board of Supervisors. The Board has accomplished a great deal in my first term and has been able to reduce the property tax levy for all Muscatine County taxpayers. It has been a privilege to serve Muscatine County residents as a Supervisor and I look forward to the opportunity to continue my public service.”
