MUSCATINE, Iowa–In the daily grind of work and family commitments, it can be easy to put off getting a college education. That’s why Eastern Iowa Community Colleges offers flexible class delivery options, to help those who can’t take traditional college classes achieve their hopes and dreams. Interested students can learn more at our upcoming April 15 online information session starting at 5:30 p.m.

To participate online, all you need is an internet connection and a smartphone or computer. Just visit eicc.edu/adults  April 15 at 5:30 p.m. to join in on the session and learn more.

With recent changes this school year, we’re offering more online options than ever, providing the utmost flexibility. These options include traditional Online courses you can access anytime, anywhere, 24/7, as well as Live Online classes delivered in real time via the free computer application, Zoom.

EICC makes a quality education possible for everyone and has become the first choice for students planning their future. Tuition continues to be one of the most competitive in the state of Iowa, thousands of dollars less than the four-year colleges and technical institutes. Financial aid is also available.

EICC’s career technology programs are designed to lead the student directly into the job market. The programs range from advanced manufacturing and truck driving to nursing and business, with everything else in between. Many of these programs have been designated high-demand by the state of Iowa, which means students may even have the opportunity to get their tuition paid through Iowa’s Last Dollar Scholarship Program.

The colleges maintain formal transfer agreements with the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, Western Illinois University, St. Ambrose University and others. These agreements mean the credits that college transfer students earn here easily transfer upon graduation.

In addition, we have a Degree Plan designed specifically for adults. There are three different programs to choose from, our general Associate in Arts Degree, Associate in Arts Degree with a Business Concentration, or our Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business. The college has conveniently laid out the courses students need to take to complete the program in two, three or four-year paths.
