MUSCATINE, Iowa–For 28 years, Muscatine High School’s Carnival After Prom Extravaganza, or CAPE, provided a safe way to keep prom fun going. This year, CAPE organizers will hold a drive through CAPE June 18.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., juniors and seniors can enter drawings for Airpods, a laptop, an Xbox One, local gift cards, and cash prizes, among others, in the Calvary parking lot. Seniors may also enter to win a 2009 Pontiac Torrent from Kriegers. Students will drive by and show ID and receive 50 tickets and a prize list. Seniors will have their names placed in the car drawing. Groups of ten or fewer will receive permission to get out of their cars and place their tickets. Participants can watch the Muscatine High School Facebook page for winners at 6 p.m. Kriegers will announce the car winner after 8:30 a.m. on the Tony Tone Show June 19. Students can claim prizes between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 19 in the Calvary Parking lot, with ID.
