MUSCATINE, Iowa – Heuer Construction, Inc., will be closing East 4th Street at Park Avenue starting Tuesday, Sept. 29, to complete full depth patching at the location. Local traffic only will be allowed on East 4th Street from Begg Street east to the intersection with Park Avenue.

The work is part of the Park Avenue 4-to-3 Lane Conversion Project and is expected to be completed by Friday, Oct. 2, weather permitting.

Drivers are reminded to use caution when travelling through construction areas and be alert for workers and traffic control devices. Drivers should use alternate routes if possible.
