MUSCATINE, Iowa–Emily King of Muscatine received the Muscatine Soil and Water Conservation District’s Diane Scott Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000.

The daughter of Jon and Sarah King, Emily, will graduate from Muscatine High School. She will continue her education at Iowa State University, majoring in agribusiness. Emily has actively participated in FFA and 4-H and volunteered at the Muscatine Center for Social Action, Muscatine Humane Society, and the Muscatine County Fair. She credits her dad with her interest in agriculture.
