WEST LIBERTY, Iowa–Muscatine County Fair Manager Kelsey Morris invites all interested residents to the Muscatine County Fair Annual Meeting. The annual meeting will take place Oct. 27 in the Activity Center (101 North Clay Street, West Liberty) at 7 p.m.

At the meeting, Morris will present an overview of the 2020 year and her outlook for 2021. The meeting will also feature an election for the Board of Directors. Anyone 18 years of age or older who holds a membership for the Muscatine County Fair may run for the Board of Directors. Interested candidates need to fill out an application in the fair manager’s office by October 23rd.

Anyone who purchased a fun pass to the 2020 Muscatine County Fair may fill out an application for a membership for the Muscatine County Fair, which grants voting rights at the annual meeting. Alternately, anyone may purchase a membership for the 2020 year the night of the annual meeting at a cost of $30.

The public may attend the meeting. Morris urges all county residents to attend, as the meeting provides an opportunity to learn more about the operation of the county fair and generates ideas for the upcoming fair.
